Just a little after school snack…

Emily Beale Photography - Living Arrows Week 18

The weather has been so lovely recently that Nathaniel has taken to having a little after school snack outside in the garden.

He loves a cold naval orange cut straight from the fridge. But most of all he loves goofing around making ‘orange smiles’.

These pictures were taken on a sunny blue sky day in the garden. Nathaniel was seated with his back to the sun. I used a large golden reflector to bounce some light back at him.

I used a D700 camera with a 50mm lens. My ISO was 250, my aperture was f/2.5 and my shutter speed 1/4000 of a second.

It’s always a treat to be linking up with – I Heart Snapping’s Living Arrows Project, Katie at Mummy Daddy Me’s Ordinary Moments, and Rebecca’s The simple Things.
